If you’re new to sea kayaking, seeking an exciting and fun-filled introduction to this wonderful sport, look no further!
Timed to coincide with our successful and popular Essential Women’s sea kayak coaching weekend, this 3-day course will provide you with skills, confidence and desire to develop your new-found sea kayaking skills.
The course will include excellent instruction from one of the UK’s best female coaches, sea kayak equipment provision and a maximum coaching ratio of 1:6 – all in a supportive single-gender coaching environment.
Is it for me?
We recommend a few days of flat water kayaking experience prior to this course. There’s no need to have experience of paddling a sea kayak, or of kayaking on the sea – we’ll introduce those skills to you during the course.
The fantastic sea kayaking environment of Anglesey, North Wales. 360 degrees of high quality coastline, rocky coves, islands & beaches – it’s all here!
We recommend Anglesey Outdoor, who have private rooms, bunk house, camping and an onsite bar & catering. We will be based at Anglesey Outdoors for the weekend and will meet you there each day.
What’s the cost?
3 full days of dedicated sea kayak coaching, with a maximum group size of 6: £225
(not including accommodation)
We will meet at Anglesey Outdoors at 9am on Friday 5 June 2020, to commence the course.
Please bring a wetsuit / paddling jacket or drysuit, along with suitable thermal layers. Please also bring suitable footwear – wet suit boots or old training shoes will be fine. We will provide all other required equipment.
You should bring food / refreshment each day, plus some spare warm clothing for each day afloat. Please contact us if you have any questions about suitable clothing / equipment.
